With over ten years’ experience in Australia and the UK, Claire helps organisations to set transfer pricing policies, prepare transfer pricing documentation, negotiate advance pricing agreements and draft responses to tax authority enquiries.

She has also managed global transfer pricing documentation projects to meet the local requirements of a number of countries around the globe. In a world of increasing regulation and scrutiny for multinationals, IP is an area of particular focus for tax authorities. The value of protecting your IP can be eroded if you are a multinational enterprise and don’t get your transfer pricing right.

Claire also prepares EMDG applications for Australian businesses exporting or looking to export their goods, services or intellectual property overseas. The EMDG program now allows export businesses that have valuable IP to claim the costs of overseas IP protection. Grants such as the EMDG can provide a huge boost to Australian businesses that are exporting, or a welcome cash injection for those Australian businesses only starting to develop their export markets.
