New Government Grant for Innovative WA SME’s 23 Jan 2020

The WA Government is opening applications for its Innovation Vouchers program next month.

Aimed towards assisting small-to-medium enterprises (“SME”) commercialise their ideas and innovations, the program is a highly competitive government grant that can provide access to a maximum of $20,000 per application, and the opportunity to collaborate with research providers and specialist support services. 

What requirements do you need to be an eligible applicant?

  • You must be developing an innovation or innovative idea in WA
  • You must be a WA-based SME that employs between one and 200 people
  • Your business must have a current Australian Business Number (ABN) and/or Australian Company Number (ACN)
  • Your business must be registered in WA and will continue to be based in WA for three years
  • Your business would contribute a net cash co-investment of at least 20:80 of applicant to State Government funding
  • You have NOT received, and are unlikely to receive, other WA Government funding for the same project/initiative
